“Animania Festival is Australia’s largest anime and manga event…a celebration and exploration of the spectacular world of Japanese pop culture! Once again fans of all ages can enjoy screenings, karaoke, art workshops, video games, panels and crazy stage shows at our 2010 Animania Festival Weekend. There will be plenty of interactive mini-games, cosplay games, dance classes, and stallholders to tempt you with plushies, figurines and more! Plus, the yummy Food Fair will be back too. Fans can also expect to see some fantastic costumes as part of the Animania Festival Cosplay Competition and the 2010/2011 World Cosplay Summit (WCS) Australian Preliminary. The winners of the WCS Preliminary will head to Japan in 2011 to compete in the WCS in Nagoya, Japan!”
